Twelve Ways to Wear Chic Pieces This Fall

Bold new ideas for how to dress after dark, with pieces that are just as powerful in the light of day.

Photographer Jeano Edwards and stylist Chloe Grace Press photographed models Baba Chogwu and Temitope Ajayi at the gardens of the Monkey Island Estate hotel, which is situated on a private island in England’s River Thames. Using a monochrome palette, Press created pared-back ensembles that are super-luxe and work for daytime or after dark. A soft gray Miu Miu dress, a matching top and skirt by Versace or a classic white Salvatore Ferragamo coat exude a sense of ease. A knit Bottega Veneta one-shoulder dress offers a striking silhouette while a silky, cream-colored top from Fendi shows skin with ladylike chic. Stroll through gardens on balmier days in an open-weave Valentino gown. The dressed-up style of a Celine by Hedi Slimane dress, complete with Paula Rowan gloves and a Chanel bracelet, turns out to be the perfect outfit for a boat ride—ditto a furry vest from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello.
